R.C. Market Report 12.15

  • Tomorrow's Forecast: Volatile off News
  • Today: The market spent the day digesting the Ponzi scheme news. The full extent of its impact will probably last for days affecting many companies. Market traded on very light volume and final hour rally erased most of the losses accumulated through the day.
  • Tomorrow: We will hear from Goldman Sachs and Bernanke, both sure to impact the market. Both events should provide some form of clarity to the past and the future. There's Morgan Stanley reporting on wed, RIMM on thurs, and options ex on friday. I think it'll feel like the year is over after getting through those events this week. I remain optimistic that the market will hold up on bad news and start moving higher as we get closer to end of year.
